Qatar commuted death sentence to imprisonment, government in touch with families

 Eight former Indian soldiers jailed in Qatar have been given 60 days by the Cassation Court (like the Supreme Court in India) to appeal against their sentence. This information was given by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal on Thursday.
